Online Tax Payment & Search System
 Search Tips:
• Bill # — Enter the bill number displayed at the top of your current tax bill (do not include any digits after the dash).
• Tax Map # — Enter your section, block, and lot as it appears in the property description on your tax bill - for example, 99.-9-99.
• Address — Enter a house number and street name, excluding the street type (Rd., Ln., etc.)
This system lets you view, print, or pay your tax bill in a secure and convenient environment. You may pay your taxes online 24 hours a day, seven days a week by using your: Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card with a 2.50% service fee. Electronic check with a $2.00 flat fee. Please note that the web service provider collects the service fees, not the Town of Guilderland.  Only full payments can be made online. No partial payments can be accepted.  Online payments made during the penalty periods will contain the appropriate penalty.  The website will not reflect your payment until it is updated the next business day.  You will receive an email confirmation of your payment.

Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm Extended Hours. Wednesday until 6:00 pm January and September ONLY. Cash will not be accepted after 4:30 pm.

Guilderland, NY 12084. Please do not send cash through the mail. 
Payments may be placed in the secure Dropbox located on the left side of the front doors of Town Hall. Receipts are mailed within 72 hours. Please do not leave cash in the drop box.
Collection Periods:
Town and County General Property Tax bills are collected penalty-free during January.
School Tax bills are collected penalty-free during September.
Please refer to your bill for the exact penalty-free collection dates and the tax amount due during the penalty periods.  Payments made during the penalty periods must contain the appropriate penalty, or they will be returned to you.  No partial payments can be accepted.
Payments made to Albany County for back taxes will not be reflected on this website.  Please contact the Albany County Department of Finance at 518-447-7082 for information on back taxes and payments made at Albany County.
