Search Tips

Bill # — Enter the bill number that is displayed at the top of your current tax bill (do not include any digits after the dash).
Tax Map # — Enter your section, block and lot as it appears in the description of property on your tax bill. For example, 99.-9-99.
Address — Enter a house number and street name excluding the street type (Rd., Ln. etc.)

This system allows you to view, print, or pay your tax bill in a secure and convenient environment.

You may pay your taxes online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using your:

Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card with a 2.95% service fee.

Electronic check with a $1.95 flat fee.

Please note that the service fees are collected by the web service provider, not the Town of Colonie. Only full payments can be made online, no partial payments can be accepted. Online payments made during the penalty periods, will contain the appropriate penalty.

The website will not reflect your payment until it is updated the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation of your payment.

Mailed payments should be sent to the above address. Please do not send cash through the mail.

Collection Periods:

Town and County General Property Tax bills are collected penalty free during the month of January.

School Tax bills are collected penalty free during the month of September.

Please refer to your bill for the exact penalty-free collection dates as well as the tax amount due during the penalty periods. Payments made during the penalty periods must contain the appropriate penalty or they will be returned to you. No partial payments can be accepted.

Payments made to Albany County for back taxes will not be reflected on this website. Please contact Albany County Department of Finance at 518-447-7082 for information on back taxes and payments made at Albany County.
